Welcome to The Bouverie Tap

The Bouverie Tap is an independently run Bar/Restaurant in the Bouverie Village area of Folkestone. We are well established, having opened in 2017 and expanded in size in 2020. Our little venue has both indoor and outdoor seating, which is great for the summer months. You will also notice the walls of The Bouverie Tap are adorned with interesting vintage memorabilia, so there’s always something new to look at!

We serve a wide variety of beverages including local real ales, fine wines, continental beers, Kentish Gins and premium spirits. Our delicious food is all made freshly with locally sourced ingredients. Our seafood is locally caught, and our meat is from the butchers a few doors down. Our menu always includes seasonal specials and changes regularly, and we try to accommodate everyone’s dietary requirements too.

Our Famous Sunday Roasts

We’re famous for our Sunday Roasts in Folkestone. Booking is a must! Roasts are available on Sunday from midday until 4pm and are also available as a takeaway.

Traditional Pub Food

Enjoy our modern take on traditional British pub food with our seasonal menu, made with ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Kids menu also available. Don’t forget to check our specials board too! This menu is served Monday to Saturday.

Local Ales & Premium Lagers

Pop in for a pint of one of our frequently changing guest ales, or a cold pint of one of our premium lagers such as Krombacher or Curious Brew. We even have our very own Bouverie Pilsner!

Fine Wines, Kentish Gins & Premium Spirits

We’ve curated an excellent range of quality wines, a full menu of gins and a wide selection of premium spirits, with a focus on local suppliers.
